March Monthly Meal Plan

by Donna Leave a Comment Post Updated: September 2024

As we head into a busy month it is so helpful to have a meal plan all set for our whole month. This month I kept our meals simple. I’m relying on easy recipes like curried lentils (which I accidentally put on our list twice!) rice and beans, and quiche. These meals use simple ingredients and are quick and easy to make.

Are you new to monthly meal planning? Check out my Monthly Meal Planning Workbook – now 50% off! It will help you get started with Monthly meal planning and comes with printables to help you get organized.

I don’t plan our breakfasts and lunches. Our children are 12 and 14 and are pretty independent with these meals. I just make sure we have basic supplies on hand so they can help themselves.

Monthly Meal Ideas blog post - I mage of chef's salad.

What about Breakfast and Lunch?

Breakfast basics we keep on hand:

  • Eggs
  • Toast
  • Oatmeal
  • Waffles
  • Fruit
  • Yogurts
  • Cottage Cheese
  • Cereals

Hot breakfast meals I like to make occasionally:

  • Baked Oatmeal
  • Scones
  • Banana Bread
  • French Toast (We love this pumpkin french toast too!)
  • Quiche

Lunch basics we keep on hand:

  • Lunchmeat
  • Cheeses
  • Lettuce and tomatoes
  • Bread and wraps
  • Tuna salad
  • Chicken Salad
  • Egg Salad
  • Raman (if you have teens you probably have Raman Noodles in your house)
  • Macaroni and Cheese
  • Cut Vegetables and dip
