Sometimes, a simple planning page with lots of room for notes is all you need to get organized for the week. That’s why I created this new, simple weekly planner layout with notes.

This new weekly planning layout gives you room to track your daily appointments, along with a large notes section to write reminders, meal plans, or anything else you need. There are three free layouts included in your PDF. Use the option that fits your routine best: Monday-Sunday, Sunday-Saturday, and a focused 5-day workweek.
Scheduling and Note-Taking All on One Page
When I first made this printable, I thought it might seem too basic, but sometimes basic is just what you need. I made this simple layout with a focus on notetaking. I often need to see a quick overview of my week when I’m planning so these pages worked out perfectly. This layout blends the need for a weekly overview with the flexibility of a blank notebook.
With most planners, you’re often stuck with a rigid format and left without room for extra thoughts. This weekly planner with notes gives you minimal columns for each day so you can track meetings, soccer games, or study sessions and a large enough note section to manage all kinds of information.
- Brain Dumps
- Grocery lists
- Meal planning for the week
- Quick reminders or phone numbers
- Work project ideas or reminders
Having this all on one page means less flipping back and forth in your planner.
Great for Any Planning Style
For me, no two weeks are the same. One week I’m meal planning for a family visit, the next week I’m focused on a big work project, and sometimes I’m traveling for work. This weekly planner page is helpful in all of those situations.
If you prefer having more structure or you need a way to plan every hour of your day, you’ll find my 24-Hour Weekly Schedule Template helpful.
Choose your Weekly Planner Page Layout
Everyone plans a little differently, so this Weekly Planner Page comes in three unique layouts: a Monday-Start layout, a Sunday start layout, and a 5-day Monday through Friday layout. All three options are included in your free PDF.
I hope that this new weekly planning layout helps you manage your time better. Using the right layout for your needs will mean that you stick with your weekly planning and manage your time and tasks better. For me, having a planner printable with a large area for notes is a great way for me to do my weekly brain dump and plan out appointments and tasks all at once!
