Simple and Cute S’mores Cupcakes

Enjoy your favorite campfire treat with these easy to make S’mores Cupcakes. We made these and sent them to school for a birthday treat last year and they have been a fun addition to our summer BBQ’s. 

S’mores Cupcakes for a Birthday Treat

The year we made these S’mores, our daughter turned 9! Because this was her first year at a school in the States, she was excited to finally have the opportunity to bring a birthday treat to her class. After much deliberation, she finally chose S’mores cupcakes. What a fun choice! These pretty cupcakes were simple to create! We were able to whip them up in no time!

I love how simple this cupcake recipe is, and the final product is super cute!

S’mores Cupcakes

This is more of an instructional rather than a recipe. Below are all of the items you need to put together these cute cupcakes.

Bake up a batch of cupcakes in any flavor. You could even save time and buy plain or chocolate frosted cupcakes from a bakery or grocery store.

Take 3 mini marshmallows, one graham cracker square and a square of chocolate and top each cupcake.

What you need to make these S’mores cupcakes:

• 1 bag of mini marshmallows
• 1 box graham crackers
• 1 bar of Hershey’s chocolate
• 1 container of Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting
• Large cupcake decorating tip
• Pastry tip coupler for extra large tips
• Disposable pastry bags

Tips and Ideas for making S’more cupcakes:

• Save time by purchasing premade chocolate frosted cupcakes.
• Crumble up some of the graham crackers and sprinkle over the chocolate frosting before adding marshmallows and chocolate.
• If you’re feeling ambitious – you can put the mini marshamallows on a wooden skewer (soaked in water first and towel dried. Then “roast” the tiny marshmallows a tiny bit to get a little roasted char marks on each one. Or if you have a hand torch for making creme brulee you can toast your marshmallows that way, too. Please use extra caution – or skip if you’re not comfortable.
