My 2023 Favorites

2023 was such a great year! busy and have had a pretty busy year which included a lot of traveling, busy school schedules, and some projects at home. I thought I would share a few of my favorite purchases and gifts from 2022 – These are all items or experiences that I truly loved!

Merit Lip Oil

I was never a big lipstick lover. I loved the look but hated how lipstick felt. I did finally find some long-lasting lip stains that I enjoy for special occasions or travel but I wanted something for every day. My 17-year-old put me onto this Merit Lip Oil. It is so pretty and nice to wear. I love that it doesn’t get sticky!

EveryPlate

Over the years I’ve tried many meal prep delivery services. This year I gave Everyplate a try and I really loved it! The cost was much better than other services, the food was fresh, and the recipes were very easy – most could be made in 30 minutes or less. Quick Dry Nail Polish

I’m a huge Olive and June nail polish fan. I’ve been partnering with them for almost two years and truly love their products. I had been happily using their long-lasting polish and then they came out with this new Quick Dry formula and I was impressed. The polish dries to the touch in 2 minutes and is more durable after 3-5 minutes.

Red Green scarf

Affordable Fall / Winter Scarfs

I ordered two of these scarves for a recent trip and was impressed with the quality. They are super soft and the colors are really nice. I love that I can easily pack it in my bag when I’m traveling. They come in many different colors and they make a great gift!

Mirror Jewelry Cabinet

Living in a small house we don’t have much storage so finding creative storage solutions. This mirror was so much storage, it’s incredible. It holds all of my jewelry plus I can store skincare, hair care, and other items. I hang ours on the back of the door but you can also hang it on the wall.

Mag Safe Charging Car Mount

I finally found a phone mount for my van that I really like. This mount is Mag Safe, it even charges your phone wirelessly, which I love. I don’t have to plug in and unplug my phone each time I need a charge. It’s perfect for long car trips when Google Maps is draining my battery.

Microfiber Lens Cloths 2-pack | 5-pack | Single pack

Microfiber Lens Cloths – with a case

I’m so happy I found these. This set of two microfibers is so handy. I keep one in my purse and one in my Disney Park Bag when we travel. These clothes are perfect for cleaning your glasses or camera (phone) lens. I don’t like having a microfiber cloth lying at the bottom of my purse, I’m always afraid it will get dirty and scratch my glasses. I also often can’t find one, so now I have one attached to my bag at all times.

Green Dress (perfect for the holidays or parties!)

Dress | Black Cardigan | 50’s fascinator hat | Sneakers

I wore this dress to the Jollywood Nights Christmas party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We dressed up in a retro 50’s theme for the night and this dress was perfect. It is so comfortable, the length is perfect for me and it is super flattering in plus sizes. I’ll probably get this in other colors, that’s how much I loved it! Check out the dress I wore here. 100% Organic Linen Sheets

Linen Sheet Set – several colors available

I’ve wanted to upgrade our sheets for a while but I could never take the plunge. I had heard how nice linen sheets were so I started searching for a good brand that wasn’t insanely expensive. I landed on this brand because these sheets were 100% linen. They are so comfy to sleep in. Soft and cool and the more you wash them the softer they get. The quality is fantastic and they fit on our deep mattress really well and don’t fall off. Check them out here.

Favorites Gift Exchange

Every year I go to a holiday brunch or dinner with friends. For the past 5-6 years we have exchanged earrings at this Christmas get-together. This year we decided to try something new and do a “Favorites” gift exchange. We each brought one of our favorite things we bought or used this past year and we did a little gift exchange.

This was so much fun! I loved seeing what people brought and all the different things that my friends are loving.

I was thrilled with my gift. I went home with a set of espresso spoons (that I actually had on my wish list and a sphere ice cube mold! This was so fun and perfect for our coffee bar!

These dot pens are perfect for making your to-do lists or checklists. I use these markers in my planner. I love the lighter mild color option.

Lemon hand soap / Kitchen Towels

Of course, we had an over-achiever… kidding…kidding… but LOOK at that sourdough! I love that our friend Emily put together this sweet trio of favorites.
