Brussel Sprouts are a family favorite in our house. I was at Costco a few weeks ago and when I picked up the giant bag of sprouts the kids literally cheered!
I got some funny smiles from the other shoppers.
The key to loving them is roasting them.
Simple, quick and so very yummy, here’s how I roast brussel sprouts:
Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1½ - 2 lbs Brussel Sprouts (cleaned and trimmed)
- A few TBS Olive Oil
- 2-3 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Preheat to 425 degrees
Cut sprouts in half or quarter
Place Sprouts in bowl
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt and pepper.
Toss Sprouts until well coated
Spread brussels sprouts on baking sheet and roast in the over for 30-40 minutes.
You can turn or toss the sprouts by shaking the pan a few times to get them nice and golden.
Variation: You can add other root vegetables to the mix and roast them all together.
