Princess for a Day!

I love to throw parties. Last year we threw a HUGE bash for Caleb’s first birthday and I knew that this year I would take it easy.

When our little girl told me she wanted a “princess-ballerina” party it was hard to contain myself. With very limited funds I whipped up a small family party with just the right amount of princess fluff.

I made a few things for the party like the banner, the chair cover and her princess hat. I whipped them up really fast. She loved everything even though she was so tired! She wears her new tutu every day!

Claire, you are fearfully and wonderfully made!

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:13-14

Here are a few pictures from the day. You can tell which pictures I took with my sisters DSLR (I.want.one!) and the one’s I took with my little digital camera.

Thanks Rebekah. I LOVE planning parties. I wish I had more hours each day so I could spend tons of time being crafty, but alas! laundry, dishes, work, hubby and kids have needs too.

Such a cute little princess. she will remember the party probably not your efforts in making it but she will remember what she felt like wearing the tutu and the hat.
Bless you mom for making a wonderful memory.
