Bye Bye Frumpy Me

The Get Dressed Challenge!

Happy Monday!

Today I’m joining Sarah Mae’s – Get Dressed Challenge – From Frumps to Pumps!

What does this mean for me?

  • There will be no more “PJ, Donna”
  • There will be no more “Lounge Wear, Donna”
  • There will be no more “5pm-mad-rush-to-get-dressed-before-hubby-gets-home, Donna”
  • If you stop by after 9am each day you will find a fully dressed mom!
  • This mom will brush her hair on a daily basis
  • My teeth, they too shall be brushed
  • Makeup will make a comeback during the week and will no longer be saved for weekends only
  • My kids will ask me each day “where are we GOING today”  because that’s what they think when this mom gets dressed
  • I will not have to run upstairs to throw on a bra when the UPS man arrives
It’s gonna be good!  I’m excited to hear the tips and encouragement and I hope to go from Frumps to Flats… because let’s be honest, unless I want to break my ankle {again!} I will NEVER wear pumps again!

It’s not too late to join the challenge! Stop over to Like A Warm Cup Of Coffee to join the challenge!

I had to giggle on the last one. You too? Or rather, my issue is that I’m usually still lying about in bed and have to quickly throw on clothes to run down. Thank goodness our UPS man knows I’m 8 months pregnant, and gives me plenty of time to run down 2 flights of stairs!

Good luck with this Donna! I know that for things like this it usually takes 20-30 days of doing it consistently, but then it becomes so routine you don’t even think about it, it’s just scheduled in the day!

OK, we have so much in common! 🙂

I get the “where are we going today” bit all the time. (Isn’t that sad…I need to do better!)

Oh I do so many of these! LOL. My two year old always says “go byebye” when I get dressed. Could be a sign, I think, that I need to get dressed more often!
