50 Things You Should Know About Donna

  1. I’m as imperfect as they come.
  2. I met my husband at church, he shook my hand and missed, shaking my wrist instead.
  3. I’m originally from Connecticut, but very happily call Pennsylvania my home now.
  4. I’m an “idea vault” I collect ideas and love to get inspired.
  5. I love music,from indie to the really loud stuff, I can do without rap.
  6. I live in the country, surrounded by corn fields.
  7. I’m honest, sometimes blunt, but usually nice about it.
  8. I’m a social butterfly.
  9. I’m sarcastic. Very. Sometimes funny.
  10. I’m a geek, a proud, proud geek.
  11. I’m pretty sure I have ADD… but maybe…… oh I forget.
  12. I take pictures of food. All the time.
  13. I love change. I’m not afraid of trying something new and I mix things up all the time.
  14. My husband often comes home to rearranged furniture, and is kind enough to not say anything.
  15. We have 3 chickens: Henrietta, Gladys and Peck.
  16. In the Fall we will have 0 chickens and enjoy homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. {these are the hard truths, people}.
  17.  I over use exclamation marks !!!!!
  18. I work from home as a virtual assistant and project manager.
  19. I’m the youngest of 3, I have an older sister and brother. We are each 13 months apart.
  20. My mother survived, barely.
  21. I spent 6 months traveling with YWAM. I lived in Australia and New Zealand during that time.
  22. I miss Australia, I will go back some day.
  23. When I was 17 I was in an accident and dragged by a car. { always a good conversation starter }
  24. I love to play the guitar, but haven’t picked it up in years!
  25. I love flip flops!
  26. Peanut Butter + Chocolate = Yes, Please!
  27. My husband makes the world’s best scrambled eggs.
  28. I hate my teeth (great now you are all going to look at my teeth when we meet!).
  29. I’m pretty sure my son will grow up to be a mama’s boy.
  30. Our daughter’s name is Claire, after Claire Danes and my grandmother in that order.
  31. I can talk like Donald Duck.
  32. My husband really is too good for me. But I’ll keep him, thank you!
  33. I dropped out of high school. With a 3.4 gpa.
  34. I’ve held a koala, yes, they are cuddly I’ve also held a wombat. no they are not cuddly, just heavy.
  35. Caramel Macchiatto, sub toffee nut syrup with skim milk, please.
  36. I love to entertain.
  37. I hate to do the dishes.
  38. I love my mother-in-law and I don’t mean I pretend to like her; I truly love her.  She is such a blessing!
  39. Injustice and I do not get along.
  40. I don’t like to debate.
  41. I’m addicted to paper products, notebooks, stationary, gift wrap, oh my!
  42. Fall is by far my favorite season!
  43. I’m kind of clumsy. Bones broken: ankle 2 times – wrist, elbow and 3 fingers.
  44. I can’t wear heals. See #43.
  45. I’m French Canadian, African American, Native American with a little Irish thrown in for good luck.
  46. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day – unless Brunch is an option!
  47. I love to entertain – throwing parties brings out all the creative ideas in my head!
  48. I was in color guard in high school – you know, back when it was cool?
  49. I love my Mac.
  50. I used to be left-handed but in 1st grade the school made me switch.

    On #33: Me too! Well, I had a great gpa. Not sure what exactly. I do know that when I went in to enroll in adult high school the next week, the teacher looked at my transcript and said “What are you doing here? I don’t often see transcripts like this.”

    To which I replied, “I was tired of wasting my time. What can I do to finish this last credit?”

    Also, I’d love to have the recipe for chicken noodle soup. Skip the chicken-killing part. I’ll let the butcher do that. :0)
