Clean Your Hair With Baking Soda and Vinegar – Confessional

I’ve been using shampoo!!! I confess!!

I used the “no-poo” hair washing method for about 5 months before I stopped.

I stopped mostly because I started to use ‘a little’ conditioner to ease my tangles.  Then one day I didn’t have my baking soda mixture in the shower, and I grabbed a bottle of regular shampoo… that began the downward spiral!

I’ve been washing my hair with ‘normal’ shampoo (organic) since then, and my hair has been getting worse and worse, itchy scalp, dull and flat hair.

Until last week…

So I’m back… Back on the baking soda/vinegar program and my scalp already feels so much better!! Within 2 washes the bumpy itchy spots on my scalp are gone and my hair is super soft!

So ladies if you had been washing with this method and stopped… don’t feel bad, jump back on the wagon with me!!

Stop over to my first post to see how to get started!

I started using the no-poo method a few weeks ago, thanks in part to reading your other post (a Google find). I love how soft and clean it makes my hair feel. Also, I can now see the natural copper and blond highlights in my hair. They have been hiding for years behind commercial shampoo residue. Who knew??? It’s pretty awesome to get highlighting without any harsh chemical treatments!
