Encouraging the Littlest & a Dayspring Giveaway!

Mothering is such a huge job.  As big as it gets, really.  Raising healthy and happy children is just the beginning.  My hope is to raise our children to have a strong relationship with the Lord.  We make time to read the bible, encouraging books and surround our children with worship music.  We want the love of God to be in their hearts.  We want them to fully understand how loved they are.

This month Dayspring kindly sent me Child of God- Wall Art :

I love this piece.  It’s a more contemporary piece thank what I’ve received from Dayspring in the past. It really works well in our daughter’s room.  I especially love the message on it.  What a way to remember that we are children of God! This is what I want my children to truly know.  The wall art not only looks great in our daughter’s room, but is a constant reminder to me, to reminder our children that they are children of God. That they were “fearfully and wonderfully made” Ps. 139:14.

We try to have an encouraging bible verse each day and then talk about it. We pray out loud and with them for encouragement. Daddy and mama are their biggest cheerleaders!

We pray aloud for the boys daily, and we remind them of who they are in Christ through the prayers. 🙂

I like to encourage my kids with their own love language. I find that is the best way to communicate to them how much they are loved and valued.

Don’t have any kids yet, but I’d love to leave them little notes in their lunches to remind them how awesome they are!

We read whatever book he wants…even if it is the same Phillies book over and over. We compliment him when he points along with us.
