Last Minute Valentines

Today we worked on some last minute Valentine’s Day goodies for the kids to bring to church tomorrow.

I had the great intention to bake up homemade sugar cookies and decorate them for the kids.

I also knew that I would NOT have the time to do this.

I headed to the grocery store and grabbed some Pillsbury Sugar Cookie dough in a tube and I found this great cookie icing from Betty Crocker.

I came home and whipped up a dozen heart shaped cookies. Iced the cookies red and sprinkled on some extra decoration.

Next I was off to find a cute printable tag to go along with the cookies. I found just what I wanted over at UCreate.com. These cute printables were a free from Cards for You on Etsy. They were intended to be used for miniature candy bars but I really just wanted the tags.

To cut out the tags I used a scalloped square punch. I also took my 1″ round punch and punched out the center of the candy bar covers to use as stickers.

The cookies were easy and fast to make.

They’re all packaged up and ready to go!
