When I was growing up we decorated our tree the same way for about 15 years straight. Nothing changed. Sometimes we added a new ornament or two but we never re did the entire tree.
Now every year, just like with clothes, there is a new “look” for our Christmas tree. There is a Christmas Tree Trend. I think last year it was jewel toned ornaments the year before it was white and blue trees. Every year it’s something different and new. Now we have to get a new look for our trees too!
WHAT?!?! A tree, getting a new “look” every year? Ridiculous!
But many of us do it, every year or two our taste in decor changes and so does our Christmas tree. I’m not really sure how I feel about this because I do love decorating, my taste does change, and I do want a beautiful tree.
Even if you don’t like to change your tree every year here’s a little Christmas tree inspiration for you:
