Spring Cleaning – Day 2 – I cheated

I really did this all on Day 1… I broke the rules and I skipped ahead.

I must have been on some kind crazy energy high or something because once I got started today, I couldn’t stop! I de-cluttered the first floor and then went on to the deep clean the living room. This was supposed to be done on “days 2-3” in the Spring Cleaning Party schedule but I was on a roll!

First I cleaned out everything. The furniture and baby stayed – everything else was cleaned off and moved out to the dining room. It’s amazing how much stuff we had crammed in there! I was able to get rid of a ton of stuff too. I was ruthless and it was worth it.

Today I’m going to declutter the upstairs. I didn’t get upstairs yesterday because I knew I needed to finish the livingroom first. I’ll be back later with more before and after pictures of the decluttering upstairs!

Be sure to go to Simple Mom to see what’s going on today!

Now on to the pictures:

Thanks! I’m having a lot of fun. I’m heading upstairs shortly. Today hasn’t gone as planned but I still hope to get something done!

It looks really good. I’m glad you didn’t throw out the husband and the baby in your ruthlessness. 😉 It seems like the satisfaction of being extra clean and organized helps me part with a few more things than I normally would.

I can really relate to “losing” your dining room table. If it weren’t t-ball season and we weren’t hosting all the grandparents for dinner twice a week, my table would be lost again, too.
